We spoke to Lisa and she said:
“Little Fellows was the first UK hand weaver to begin producing wraps back in May 2013 as single-weaver business run from my home studio in Gloucestershire. My aim was to bring a more affordable handwoven to the market without compromising on quality; all the fibres I use are of premium quality and thoughtfully sourced.
I’ve been carrying my three children for over eight years now, so know first-hand the benefits that it can bring for both parent and child. As a weaver, this gives me a unique insight into how weaves will perform as baby slings, and I have moved on to weaving more complex patterns with this in mind. My artistic inspiration remains as “Quintessentially English” as it has been since the start. Colourways are released in discrete collections, often channelling my not-so-inner geek; so far we’ve had two, Wraps of Ice and Fire based on the GRR Martin books, and Natura Artis Magistra (meaning, nature is the teacher of art and science.) ”
